Mrs Danielle Fairweather
Research Fellow, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Mrs. Danielle Fairweather is a Research Fellow and Therapeutic Radiographer at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), specialising in improving patient outcomes in radiotherapy and proton beam therapy. He research focuses on patient experience and patient-reported outcome measures, aiming to better understand the perspectives of those undergoing treatment and enhance their quality of care. Danielle's research also explores the hidden toxicities of treatment – the often-overlooked side effects, like the financial burden of treatment, can significantly impact patients’ quality of life. By exploring these topics she aims to deepen our understanding of the acute and long-term effects of radiation treatment and ensure they are addressed in clinical practice.
