Ms Rhona Watson
Consultant Therapeutic Radiographer, Oxford University Hospitals
Rhona qualified as a therapeutic radiographer from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008 and specialised in neuro-oncology and SRS since 2013. She has extensive experience in service delivery across the private and public sectors in the UK and New Zealand. Rhona completed her Master’s degree in 2023 from Oxford Brookes University where her studies focused on role expansion of the non-medical expert practitioner in radiotherapy to the brain.
She leads the SRS service at Oxford University Hospitals NHSFT and have specific interests in precision radiotherapy, brain metastases, non-medical prescribing, advanced and consultant practice and patient-centred care. She is proud to be AHP representative on the BNOS council, an ambassador for Radiotherapy UK, and a member of the Tessa Jowell National Therapeutic Radiographer’s Network.
