Dr. Shanika Samarasekera is clinical lead for epilepsy in the West Midlands, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. She is chair of the UK specialist interest group for neurologists in neuro-oncology and has been an adviser to NICE in this field. She runs a regional clinic for patients with tumour related neurological symptoms.
