Prof Ahmed Idbaih

Neuro-oncologist, Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital

Professor Ahmed Idbaih, is neuro-oncologist at Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital (Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris), professeur of neurology at Sorbonne Université and researcher at the brain institute of Paris (ICM), France.

He obtained his MD from Sorbonne University and his PhD from Université Paris Saclay. He broadened his lab training with a postdoctoral fellowship in Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston.

In addition to clinical management of brain tumour patients, he has a strong interest in research in neuro-oncology. He is involved in several clinical trials dedicated to patients with brain tumours. He participates actively in preclinical therapeutic research coordinating a group focused on experimental therapeutics in preclinical model of glioblastoma (GLIOTEX-ARTC group).
